The claims this storefront makes
We cannot list the claims Modern Aminos makes for itself, because we could not read them. The storefront at modernaminos.com returned HTTP 403 to our fetch on October 19, 2026, and the subdomain new.modernaminos.com did not resolve. A sister domain, modernaminos.eu, exists. Because the primary source was unreachable, every on-site field in our record is unknown: the testing program, certificate access, catalog size, pricing, shipping, payment methods, the research-use disclaimer and the contact details. The email cs@modernaminos.com comes from Finnrick and is unverified. The two product names in our record, CJC-1295 and one GLP-class item, come from Finnrick’s test log rather than from the vendor. This report is therefore a review of the public record about the supplier, not of the supplier’s own statements, and a reader should hold it to that standard.
The one thing a buyer should know is that a company which blocks review traffic and has lost a very large review profile has left a skeptical reader with a great deal to think about and nothing to check it against.
We fetched the primary domain and its subdomain, tried both the US and the .eu Trustpilot pages, read Finnrick’s vendor page and its June 13, 2026 intelligence report in full, and searched FDA correspondence for the name. Everything that follows about the company’s conduct is Finnrick’s reporting, and we attribute it as such throughout.
What held up when we checked
The retest record on the one product Finnrick has tested repeatedly is reasonable. Finnrick, an independent testing aggregator, reports that 5 of 6 classifiable tests of a GLP-class product passed between June 2025 and July 2026. In a market where several suppliers in our file fail more retests than they pass, a five-in-six pass rate on an independently purchased sample is a genuine positive, and we say so plainly.
Finnrick also records the four laboratories the vendor cites for its certificates: Vanguard, Chromate, TrustPointe and Freedom Diagnostics. Naming laboratories is a point in a supplier’s favor when the certificates can be read, which here they could not. Two of those names, Vanguard and Freedom Diagnostics, appear elsewhere in our file attached to certificates we were able to open at other suppliers, so the laboratories are real; what we could not see is whether Modern Aminos’ certificates from them exist, are issued per lot, or match the samples Finnrick tested. That is the whole of what we can place on the positive side of the ledger.
What did not, and what we could not verify
The US Trustpilot profile has been removed for guideline violations. Search snippets had shown roughly 1,563 reviews and a 4.9 average before the removal. A profile of that size being taken down raises the question of how the reviews were gathered, and the company has had no reachable page on which to answer it. Finnrick reports that the modernaminos.eu Trustpilot page carries negative reviews. We did not fetch the .eu storefront, and we do not know whether it is the same operation serving European buyers or a separate one; nothing in our record settles that, and a buyer who reaches the .eu site should treat it as unverified in the same way as the .com.
Finnrick’s intelligence report dated June 13, 2026 contains the following, attributed to Finnrick and not independently confirmed by us. The operating company is a Wyoming LLC at the 30 N Gould St registered-agent address in Sheridan, with an operator trail pointing to Idaho and no public beneficial owners. The terms of sale include anti-chargeback language threatening fraud and law-enforcement escalation against customers who dispute a charge, with all sales final and a 7-day return window. Seventeen promoter placements were identified, fourteen of them carrying codes or links without clear disclosure, including a subreddit, r/ModernAminosGuide, that used a referral code. And the MODERN AMINOS trademark is owned by an unrelated company, Modern Sports Nutrition LLC.
On testing, the record is not uniformly good. Finnrick logged one identity failure on a GLP-class product on July 9, 2025, and a March 2026 sample 21.7 percent below the vendor’s batch claim. Finnrick also describes the four cited laboratories as having uneven accreditation and unresolved certificate-falsification allegations attached to the group, which weakens the value of the laboratory names recorded above. Finnrick further reports that the vendor announced it would discontinue its GLP-class products effective December 31, 2025, yet Finnrick logged a test of one on July 20, 2026, which means either the discontinuation did not happen or product remained in circulation seven months later.
Everything the supplier would say for itself is unverified. No FDA warning letter naming Modern Aminos appears in our record. The Finnrick report is the only substantial public document on this company, and we have presented it as Finnrick’s work from the first paragraph to the last.
Our read
A supplier that blocks review-site traffic, has had a very large review profile removed, pays promoters without disclosure, hides its owners behind a registered agent and writes terms that threaten its own customers has given a skeptical reader a great deal to work with and nothing to check it against. We have not confirmed any of Finnrick’s findings ourselves, and a company that disagrees with them has an obvious remedy: open the site, publish the owner and answer the report.
The passing retest record is the one genuine positive, and it belongs to a product line the vendor says it has discontinued. Until the site is reachable and the ownership is public, there is no basis for a recommendation, and a research purchaser who sees Modern Aminos praised in a forum should ask whether that praise came with a referral code.
